Meghalaya High Court has ordered the arrest of those responsible for illegal coal mining following a deadly explosion in East Jaintia Hills. The court summoned the district police chief and deputy commissioner to appear on February 9, expressing grave concern over repeated fatal incidents and the failure of enforcement. Immediate assistance for victims was also mandated.
Held as a key initiative to promote the "Fit India Movement", the annual event, first held in 2021, has grown significantly in popularity among running enthusiasts nationwide, according to the official press release.
