Mohit Duseja on joining Naagin 7: It feels incredible, like coming back home

After taking a break from television, actor Mohit Duseja is making his comeback with Naagin 7. The actor, known for shows like Hum Rahein Na Rahein Hum and Chikoo Ki Mummy Durr Kei, says returning to the screen with a this production feels both exciting and emotional.“It feels incredible—like coming back home,” Mohit shares while talking about his return. “I took that break by choice because I was doing projects back-to-back. At one point, I felt the need to pause, realign with my creative vision, and understand the path I truly wanted to follow.” The break, he says, became a phase of growth rather than inactivity. “I spent that year working on my fitness business, travelling, exploring ads and films, and just experiencing life. As an actor, all of that adds to your craft,” he explains.Now, Mohit is channeling those experiences into his new character Kapil in Naagin 7. “Kapil is the younger brother in a middle-class family that runs a small printing press. He’s fun-loving, outgoing, flirtatious, and someone a lot of young boys will relate to,” he says. “He complains about business responsibilities, loves enjoying life, and has a very big heart. I love how relatable he feels—on one side there are responsibilities, and on the other, dreams and romance,” Mohit adds.For Mohit, returning with a franchise backed by Ekta Kapoor makes the comeback even more special. “To return with this show, it can’t get better than this. I’m energized, focused, and ready for what comes next,” he says.
