Senior IPS officers get promotion

Ranchi: Nine IPS officers would get promoted to level-13 pay matrix with effect from January 1, 2023.
They are Y S Ramesh, Kartik S, Surindra Kumar Jha, Chothe Manoj Ratan, Sandhya Rani Mehta, Dhananjaya Kumar Singh, Ashwani Kumar Sinha, Shailendra Kumar Barnwal and Kumar Ravishankar. The officers would continue to serve in their current position. On Wednesday, the government also promoted Pankaj Kamboj, Asim Vikrant Minz and Rajkumar Lakra to the post of Inspector General.
CS centre: The Khunti administration on Friday opened a community service centre (CSC) at the Central Reserve Police Force camp in the extremist-affected Birbanki village. The CSC would enable people to enrol for welfare schemes in their locality. TNN
