Dhanbad Celebrations Turn Violent: Firing and Assault Injure Five

Dhanbad: Celebrations turned violent, leaving several injured in two incidents of firing and assault in district.In the first incident, clash reportedly began at Barmasia Football Ground over a dispute related to playing music on a DJ and payment issues, which soon escalated into gunfire. Two youths were injured in the firing and rushed to the Shaheed Nirmal Mahto Medical College and Hospital (SNMMCH).Dhansar police station in-charge Manohar Karmali said that a dispute over DJ music triggered the clash. One group claimed the dispute was related to pending payment, while another claimed it was linked to a land transaction. An investigation is underway, and efforts are being made to identify and arrest the accused.In another incident, three people were seriously injured in a bottle attackat Udiya Patti under Saraidhela police station area. The injured were admitted to SNMMCH.Vicky Hadi came to visit his sister Rani Devi when a group of youths allegedly arrived in an intoxicated state and began assaulting a man nearby. When Vicky and his brother tried to intervene, the attackers reportedly broke beer bottleson them.Saraidhela police station in-charge Manjeet Kumar said action will be taken after receiving a complaint.
