Ranchi: Sarala Birla Public School, Ranchi, marked International Women's Day by acknowledging the role of women educators in shaping students and the school community. The programme highlighted their contribution to teaching, mentorship, and student development. Principal Manisha Sharma addressed the gathering and appreciated the dedication of women teachers in balancing professional responsibilities and family roles.
Ex-Loyola alumni clears civil services exam
Mohammad Isteyaq Rahman, a former student of Loyola Convent School, Booty, in Ranchi cleared the Civil Services Examination 2025, securing an all-India rank of 354. School director S Prakash congratulated him saying Isteyaq's achievement is a matter of pride for the entire Loyola family and inspiring student. Such achievements reflect values like hard work, discipline, and firm determination, which the institution strives to develop in each of its students.
DPS students shine in maths Olympiad
Students of Delhi Public School, Ranchi, recorded notable results in the SilverZone International Olympiad of Mathematics 2025-26, with several securing top ranks. Ameya Amoli Shrivastava and Shanvi Tejas (Class 2) emerged as gold medallists. At the state level, Abhinav Raj Singh (Class 6) and Soudrija Sarkar (Class 7) secured top positions. Other class-wise gold medallists included Ansh Raj, Shubhashish Singh, Sudeep Mahato, Prateek Sharma, and Rudransh Ranjan.
Training session
Teachers of Surendranath Centenary School participated in an in-house training session on ‘Safety, Security and Wellness in Schools', focusing on strengthening child protection and preparedness in educational institutions. The programme covered school safety frameworks, legal awareness on child protection, disaster management, and safety audits.
