Child Abuse FIR Lodged in Ramgarh: Boy Tied to Tree, Beaten for Alleged Theft

Ramgarh: An FIR was lodged on Sunday against one Bablu Tikdhari and two others hailing from Diesel Colony in Patratu on charges of tying a seven-year-old boy to a tree and thrashing him for allegedly stealing money from his neighbour on Jan 9, police said.The officer-in-charge of Patratu police station, Shivlal Gupta, said, “The FIR has been registered under the Pocso Act and other relevant sections of the BNS based on a written complaint filed by the elder brother of the victim. No arrest has been made so far. Further probe is on.”The video of the incident went viral on social media on Saturday.
