BJP reshuffles leaders: BJP appoints new district presidents in Jharkhand; Strengthens organizational framework ahead of future political challenges

Ranchi/Dhanbad: In a major organisational rejig, Jharkhand unit of BJP on Friday announced the presidents of its units in 23 districts of the state. Of them, three are women, four are from scheduled tribes (ST) and one hails from scheduled caste (SC). Eight presidents were re-elected, the party said.The list was announced by Rajya Sabha MP Pradeep Verma in Ranchi. The announcement was made in presence of state BJP president and leader of opposition Babulal Marandi among other senior officer bearers. Verma said, “Party has completed election process of presidents in 23 district whose names were released today.”Varun Sahu was appointed the president of Ranchi Mahanagar unit. Vinay Mahto Dheeraj was appointed the president of Ranchi East while Narendra Singh was appointed the president of Ranchi West.In Dhanbad, Shravan Rai was once again appointed as the president of the Dhanbad (mahanagar) while Mohan Kumbhkar is named district’s rural president. Addressing party workers, Shravan expressed gratitude to the party leadership for reposing faith in him.The announcements marked an important step in strengthening BJP’s organisational framework in the state ahead of future political challenges.
