Amit Shah Outlines Foolproof NIDMS Mechanism To Counter Future Terror Attacks

Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday said the National Integrated Database Management System (NIDMS) will play a crucial role in strengthening investigations related to explosions across India. He said details of every blast can be securely recorded and accessed by police forces in any state to study patterns, modus operandi and the type of explosives used. Shah noted that the system will help investigators link cases through circuit patterns and carry out qualitative analysis to identify emerging trends. Describing NIDMS as a secure national digital platform, he said it enables organised collection, standardised integration and safe sharing of accurate bomb blast data, improving coordination and efficiency among law enforcement agencies nationwide.
