5 injured in Bokaro after Ram Navami flag touches high-tension line

Bokaro: At least five persons suffered minor burn injuries during a Ram Navami procession at Khetko village in Bokaro district on Friday after a ceremonial flag allegedly came in contact with a high-tension power line. All the injured were rushed to a private hospital for treatment. Bokaro DC Ajay Nath Jha said, “Power supply in the area was switched off as a precautionary measure for the procession. But the flag may have come in contact with a transmission line on the route. All the injured persons are stable. We are probing the incident.”
