SGTPL sets up new Pune plant for gensets

Pune: The generator sets OEM Shyam Global Technoventures (SGTPL) has announced the opening of a new plant to manufacture what it calls “world-class gensets” near Pune, largely under the Powerol brand of gensets by the Mahindra group’s Automotive and Farm Equipment Sectors (AFES) division, SGTPL added.
The plant was inaugurated on Friday by senior officials of Mahindra’s gensets and AFES divisions, as well as by Narendra Goyal, the president of SGTPL.SGTPL is the OEM for a number of the Mahindra Powerol generator sets across varying capacities, which are deployed across a variety of functions. It also manufactures gas-powered generator sets, the company added. tnn
