Sahyog Shivir camps held in 41 Patna panchayats

Patna: The district administration on Tuesday launched Sahyog Shivir camps in 41 panchayats to address public grievances related to govt services, including land revenue matters, social welfare schemes and utility-related complaints. Officials said thousands of people attended the camps to seek resolution of their grievances.Following directives from the CM, officials from 19 departments set up help desks at panchayat buildings to process applications and provide information to the public. The administration has scheduled these camps on the first and third Tuesday of every month.Patna DM Thiyagarajan S M prepared a roster for the camps and deputed senior officials to monitor the proceedings. Citizens can submit complaints either 30 days before the scheduled camp or on the day of the event itself. Officials have been directed to resolve grievances within 30 days and update the status on the state portal. Failure to comply with the deadline may invite disciplinary action against the officials concerned.Deputy CM Vijay Kumar Choudhary also visited camps in Naubatpur, Danapur and Punpun blocks, where he distributed documents and reviewed service delivery. He said the initiative was aimed at ensuring the availability of all departments at one place to facilitate prompt public service.
