Patna: Ashish Rajvansh, a sixth semester mechanical engineering student of Govt Polytechnic College, Gulzarbagh, Patna, has been selected to represent India in the aircraft maintenance category at the Skill India competition to be held in Shanghai, China, on Sept 22.
His selection for the international event highlights the growing reputation of
Bihar’s govt technical institutions for quality education and skill development. Congratulating the student, science, technology and technical education minister Shila Kumari termed the achievement a matter of pride for both Bihar and the country.
Ashish had earlier won a gold medal at the state-level competition in Bhubaneshwar and a bronze medal at the national-level event in Mumbai. Following advanced training and assessment of GMR Aero School of Aviation, he learned the opportunity to represent India at the global stage.
