PK takes jibe at govt over LPG shortage
Ara: Jan Suraj founder Prashant Kishor on Monday criticised the NDA govt during his Nav Nirman Yatra in Ara, questioning the claim of a self-reliant India. Referring to a brief war in West Asia, he alleged that LPG shortages forced many households to rely on cow-dung cakes and firewood for cooking. He said, “In the name of self-reliant India, people are compelled to stand in queues. Earlier during demonetisation, for Covid vaccine, and now for the LPG refill they are standing in long queues.”

Kishor also took a swipe at the BJP, saying Gujarat, which sends 26 MPs to Parliament, dominates economically while people from Bihar, which elects 40 MPs, are engaged as workers there. He further added, “What benefits will the people of Bihar get if an NDA or INDIA Alliance candidate gets elected to the Rajya Sabha? Unless the condition of majority of the people of Bihar improves, these elections have no meaning for the common man of the state. Some of these elected leaders can’t even get a stoppage of a train, not to talk about rendering any service to the people.”
