Massive fire breaks out at Bihar's Muzaffarpur hospital; 4 dead
Several patients are feared dead after a massive fire broke out at a hospital in Bihar's Muzaffarpur district on Thursday.
PATNA: Atleast 4 people were killed after a fire broke out at a private hospital in Bihar's Muzaffarpur district on Thursday, officials said.The blaze erupted in the intensive care unit (ICU) of Prasad Hospital.Muzaffarpur district magistrate Subrat Kumar Sen said firefighters brought the fire under control."Several lives were lost following a massive fire that broke out in the ICU of Prasad Hospital in Muzaffarpur. Firefighting teams arrived promptly and have successfully brought the blaze under control. Further details are awaited," Sen said.
The cause of the fire was not immediately clear. An investigation is underway.
