Bihar girls book semis berth in National Sub-Junior Kabaddi

PATNA: Bihar and Maharashtra girls stormed into the semi-finals of the 26th National Sub-Junior Kabaddi Championship at the Patliputra Sports Complex on Saturday.
Among boys, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh booked their berths in the last four of the championship.
In the girls' quarter-finals, Bihar pipped Delhi 9-7 while Maharashtra thrashed Uttar Pradesh 18-6.
In the boys' pre-quarter finals, Bihar got the better of Karnataka 27-12.
NDA to clash with St Joseph’s Convent: Notre Dame, Notre Dame Academy will meet St Joseph’s Convent (English) in the girls’ final of the interschool basketball tournament organized by Loyola Alumni Association here on Sunday. Loyola High School and St Joseph’s Convent (Hindi) will play for 3rd place.
In the boys’ section, Loyola High School will meet B D Public School while St Michael’s High School will take on St Dominic School the semi-finals.

Indian School Basketball League: St Michael's High School will meet B D Public School in the boys’ final of Indian School Basketball League (Patna) at the DAV School, BSEB ground on Sunday. Delhi Public School and St Joseph's Convent will clash in the girls’ final.
In the boys’ semi-finals on Saturday, BD Public School defeated DAV School, BSEB 25-14, while St Michael’s High School pipped DPS 34-33.
St Joseph’s Convent (English) beat their Hindi medium counterparts 40-22 and DPS defeated St Michael's 20-11 in the girls’ semi-finals.
