Nashik’s Sanjivani wins 10,000m title at Fed Cup

Nashik: Maharashtra’s distance runner Sanjivani Jadhav won the 10,000m gold on the first day of the 25th Federation Cup senior athletics championships in Kozhikode on Saturday, reports Deepak Odhekar. The Nashik girl clocked 33:13:07 minutes to beat Himachal Pradesh girl Seema, who finished the race in 34:31:44s. The third place went to Uttar Pradesh’s Kavita Yadav, who took 34:56:42 to complete the race.Sanjivani, 26, works as Sports Officer at Kalwan taluka in Nashik.
