Cousin dies in accident, girl loses life in crash on way to his funeral

Amravati: Two cousins from the same family in Kanfodi village lost their lives in separate road accidents within 24 hours at Bhatkuli tehsil of the district. While Naitik Pradeep Sable (16) died on Thursday evening, his cousin Sameeksha alias Khushi Balasaheb Sable (19) died on Friday afternoon while she was headed to attend Naitik's funeral. According to reports, Naitik was pursuing an MSCIT course in Bhatkuli. On Thursday around 8pm, his two-wheeler was hit by a tractor coming from the opposite direction on Bhatkuli-Asara road, resulting in his death.Sameeksha, a polytechnic student, died in an accident when she was headed to attend Naitik's funeral at Kanfodi. At around 12.30pm on Friday, a speeding truck coming from the opposite direction hit her two-wheeler near Mahalaxmi Ginning in Bhatkuli, killing her on the spot.The double tragedy has devastated the Sable family. Bhatkuli police registered cases against the tractor driver and the truck driver.
