Mysuru: War of words between Mysuru MP Pratap Simha and Chamaraja MLA L Nagendra continued with Nagendra challenging Simha to bring funds for the development of backward assembly constituencies like Chamundeshwari and Periyapatna.
Simha’s meeting with KR Hospital authorities over the utilisation of funds announced in CM’s budget speech triggered the war of words between the two BJP leaders.

“The KR Hospital is located in my constituency. I should chair all the meetings. Adding to this, centenary year will be celebrated two years later. Simha’s meeting has no relevance,” he said. “Simha should take the credit if he implements the developmental works from the money he brought from his home. Even PM Narendra Modi doesn’t claim credit for his achievements. One should not claim credit for the works executed with taxpayer’s money,” he said. TNN
