Filed by Uday Kumar/ Cleared by AravindMysuru: The Mysore Organisation of Genitourinary Surgeons (MYSOGUS) will host its annual live operative workshop, ‘KUA-MYSOGUS UROCON 2026’, on Saturday (May 23) at JSS Hospital, bringing together leading urologists from across the country for an academic and surgical learning experience.Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, MYSOGUS president Dr Narendra said the daylong workshop will feature live demonstrations of nine complex urological surgeries performed by eminent specialists from various parts of India. The procedures will be transmitted live to the auditorium at JSS Hospital. The workshop will primarily focus on the surgical management of urinary incontinence in both men and women. In addition to the live surgeries, extensive academic sessions will highlight the latest advancements, innovative techniques and evidence-based management practices in urology and urinary incontinence treatment.The live surgeries will commence at 8am and continue until 7pm.Dr GK Venkatesh, founder-director and professor of urology at the Institute of Nephro-Urology, Bengaluru, will inaugurate the workshop. Dr CP Madhu, director and medical superintendent of JSS Hospital, and Dr Upendra Shenoy, senior consultant and chief of medical services at Manipal Hospital, will attend.Dr Prasad, Dr Prakash Prabhu, Dr Dinesh Kumar, Dr Umesh K and Dr Sachin were also present.
