Mumbai: Skill development and entrepreneurship minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha will inaugurate Padma Bhushan Pankaj Udhas Chowk at Peddar Road on Sunday, which is also Udhas's 75th birth anniversary.Called ‘the velvet voice of India', Udhas (1951-2024) was one of the pioneers among ghazal singers in India, with several romantic Ghazal to his credit. The chowk commemorates the maestro who made Mumbai his home."Many distinguished guests from the world of music and those close to the life and legacy of my father will attend the event," said his daughter Nayaab Udhas.
