Mumbai: Deputy CM
Eknath Shinde visited the ‘Missing Link' project on Sunday, which will make the Mumbai-Pune Expressway completely ‘access controlled'. It is set to open May 1. "I have personally come here and checked the quality of the work and it is satisfactory. The remaining minor works will be completed in the next few days. Clear instructions have been given to the officials to complete the work on time and with high quality," Shinde said.
"This project will bring accidents in the ghats to almost zero," Shinde claimed. This will save fuel, save time and significantly reduce pollution.
