Two held for cattle theft

Udupi: Two persons, including a minor in conflict with the law, were arrested on Saturday on charges of cattle theft. The accused is Mohammed Sinan,19, from Gulwadi village in Kundapur. Police have seized a car used for the crime and three cattle that have been sent to Necharu Goshala. The accused has been presented before a court.Earlier, a case in connection with cattle theft was registered at the Gangolli police station under the Karnataka Prevention of Slaughter and Prevention of Cattle Ordinance and Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act.
