City cools after after hot spell
TNNLudhiana: With both day and night temperature staying below normal, residents continue to enjoy pleasant weather in the city. The weather department has forecast clear weather in the next few days.The sky remained mostly clear on Thursday but maximum (day) temperature was recorded at 31.8 degrees Celsius, 6.6 degrees below normal and 2.8 degrees less than a day before. Minimum (night) temperature was also recorded below normal at 20 degrees Celsius.Weather is likely to remain mainly clear till Sunday, indicating rise in day and night temperatures. After the hot spell, this comes as a relief for residents. Homemaker Anita said the unusually pleasant weather made daily routine more comfortable. "The cool breeze and mild temperatures are a welcome change, especially in May. It has encouraged people to spend more time outdoors, whether for morning walks or evening outings," she said.
