No Bahraich fair linked to Salar Masud this year too
Bahraich: The Bale Miyan fair, held in honour of Syed Salar Masud Ghazi in Bahraich, will not be held this year too, in compliance with the high court order. Officials said only religious rituals will be allowed, while all commercial fair activities and related events will remain prohibited.
DM Akshay Tripathi told TOI that the event would be conducted in accordance with the high court’s directions, as was done last year. “Only religious rituals will be permitted, while no commercial fair or related activities will be allowed, similar to last year. The organisers have also sought permission in line with the HC order issued last year,” he said.
