E-way network has laid foundation for ‘New UP’: Modi
Hardoi: PM Modi on Wednesday reviewed Uttar Pradesh’s growth map at an exhibition organised by the UPEDA on the sidelines of the Ganga Expressway inauguration.
Modi visited the exhibition at the event venue and was briefed about the state’s expanding expressway network, its industrial potential and integration with cultural heritage.
CM Yogi Adityanath apprised the PM of the strategic utility and future plans of the expressway network being developed across the state. Modi appreciated the comprehensive planning and described the network as a foundation for a “New Uttar Pradesh”.
Officials at the exhibition also presented an overview of industrial development plans linked to the expressway corridors, including proposed logistics hubs and industrial clusters aimed at attracting investment and generating employment.
The exhibition showcased not only infrastructure projects but also glimpses of the state’s cultural and religious heritage. Tableaux depicting the Prayagraj Mahakumbh Sangam, an art gallery, the bird sanctuary of Pratapgarh, a statue of Mahatma Buddha in meditation and various temples were displayed.
The exhibition highlighted that along with development, equal emphasis is being placed on preserving tradition and culture, it said.
Details of the Ganga Expressway project, including its construction process, the 12 districts along its route and the connectivity benefits, were also presented. The expressway is expected to facilitate faster travel and promote regionally balanced development.
The UPEDA exhibition underscored that the Ganga Expressway is not merely a road project but a key driver of Uttar Pradesh’s economic transformation through improved connectivity, industrial growth and regional development, it added. PTI KIS SKY
