Lucknow: Senior BJP functionary and former Uttar Pradesh minister
Mohsin Raza on Wednesday exchanged Ramzan greetings with Aishbagh Eidgah Imam Maulana Khalid Rasheed Farangi Mahali.
Raza, who visited Islamic Centre of India, prayed for peace, harmony and prosperity in the state and the country. Raza praised Maulana Khalid Rasheed for his continued guidance to the community. Maulana Farangi Mahali holds several key religious and administrative roles, including chairperson of the Markazi Chand Committee (Aishbagh Eidgah), executive member of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board, and Naib Nazim of Darul Uloom Nadwatul Ulama.

During the interaction, Raza said Ramzan teaches patience, discipline and service to humanity, and added that guidance from senior clerics like Maulana Farangi Mahali is important for maintaining social harmony.
