"The current budget appears to be more of a headline-grabbing exercise, which once again seems to have dashed people's hopes of good days. In any case, the people of Uttar Pradesh are still awaiting employment opportunities that generate sustainable income, for which seriousness and activism on the part of the govt are essential," she said. "In this regard, the govt must pay proper attention to SC, ST, and OBC reservations. The sooner the recruitment backlog is completed, the better," said the former UP CM. In any case, if the BJP govt, like BSP govts, strives to fulfil the constitutional obligation of 'Sarvajana Hitay and Sarvajana Sukhay' with devotion and honesty, it will be appropriate for the country and the people.
