Sanjay Singh said it did not offer any concrete solution to inflation, unemployment, or the dire situation of farmers.
Singh said in the face of massive unemployment in the state, where even educated youth were not getting jobs, the govt provided no clear roadmap for the creation of permanent jobs.

"The budget is only announcements and juggling of figures. Despite claims of doubling farmers' income, adequate provisions are not made for the agriculture sector. The govt is silent on pending payments to cane farmers, MSP guarantee and irrigation facilities. This budget is injustice to farmers," he said.
He further alleged that the condition of govt hospitals was extremely poor and that there was a severe shortage of teachers in schools.
"Inflation is at its peak. Prices of electricity, water, cooking gas and daily necessities are continuously rising. No direct scheme or subsidy provision is made to provide relief to the common man. The people of UP need a budget of work, not empty promises," he said.
