Kottayam: Minister Saji Cherian on Friday warned that if G Sudhakaran further attacks Communist party, he would reveal details about the former CPM leader. Sudhakaran had contested as an independent candidate supported by UDF in Ambalappuzha.
Cherian described Sudhakaran's allegations against him regarding the vandalising of Krishna Pillai memorial as ‘disrespectful'. He also said that if there was a move to vandalise, then they both would have gone together. "What if I claim that Sudhakaran went to burn the memorial?" said Cherian.
He also said that Congress would throw Sudhakaran into the dustbin after using him. There is truth in the universe, and Sudhakaran would face consequences for his actions and words, he said.
Sudhakaran claims that CPM MLAs are millionaires, but none of the current MLAs have even a quarter of Sudhakaran's assets. H Salam built his house by taking a loan, Cherian said.
Sudhakaran's derogatory remarks, even mentioning caste against the district secretary, are disgraceful. He is making this disgraceful talk to raise the discussion that an Ezhava was not given a seat, he added. Sudhakaran would fall into the dustbin of history.
He should leave us alone, Cherian said.
Prominent people who left the movement still had communism in their hearts, but Sudhakaran is not like that. He made a deal with Congress leader K C Venugopal some time ago. He turned right-wing within 24 hours of being informed by CPM that he would not be contesting this time. The MLA pension Sudhakaran receives is a benefit earned from the party. Would his own family members trust this man? Sudhakaran will lose 5,000 votes for insulting Sujatha, Cherian said.
