Nursing instt teacher goes missing, cops launch probe

Kanpur: A lady teacher of a nursing college at Hardauli village in Bidhnoo area of the district went missing from the hostel on Thursday.
The incident came to light on Saturday when the mobile phone of the teacher was found switched off, following which, the family lodged a missing complaint at Bidhnoo police station.
The principal of the nursing college told the family members that the teacher had informed him that she was going to her elder sister’s residence in Ghatampur area.
However, when they called her sister to inquire about her whereabouts, she feigned ignorance.
Police station in-charge Amit Kumar Mishra said a missing person complaint has been registered and search is on for the lady teacher.
