Kanpur: Akhand Pratap’s fine knock of 82 runs and two wickets haul enabled Friends Cricket Academy beat SB S Cricket Academy by 4 wickets in first Sunil Tiwari U-13 Inter-Academy Cricket championship played at Kanpur South ground on Tuesday.

SBS Academy, deciding to bat first posted a total of 218 in 35 overs with the help of Aryan Yadav’s 83 runs. Friends Academy in reply scored 219 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 34.1 overs.

GNK College in the first match of the day beat Delhi Public School Unnao by 48 runs, Delhi Public School Kalyanpur bt Mantora Public School by 65 runs Guru Harrai Public School outplayed M R Jaipuria School by 43 runs and Allen House Public School Khalasi Line bt Gaurav Memorial by 78 runs.
