DKG Entertainment XI defeat Prime Enlighten XI by 4 runs in JNT U-12 cricket

Kanpur: DKG Entertainment XI outplayed Prime Enlighten XI by 4 runs in a thrilling match of JNT U-12 cricket tournament for Sigma Griplock trophy held at Kanpur South ground here on Tuesday.
Deciding to bat first, DKG XI posted a total of 159 for 9 in 25 overs. The main scorer was Ayaan Purohit who played a fine knock of 75 runs plundering 13 boundaries and a six. Shivansh Rai of Prime XI bagged 5 wickets for 22 runs.
In reply, Prime XI could collect 155 runs for the loss of 9 wickets. They were on the verge of win as in the last over they require 6 runs with three wickets in hand. But they lost two wickets at 154 and could score just one run.
In another match, Liverpool XI drubbed Balmol XI by 2 wickets at Kanpur South B ground.

In another match Jaipuria School outplayed Allen House school Rura by identical margin (3-1). For winners Bhavik Jain, Samarth Gurnani and Arhan Alam scored one goal each and Aviral scored a goal for Allen House School.
