Jhansi: Bundelkhand University has put in place extensive high-tech arrangements for smooth and transparent conduct of the Uttar Pradesh Combined B Ed Entrance Examination 2026, scheduled to be held across 1011 examination centres in 72 districts of the state on Sunday. Around 4.45 lakh candidates are expected to appear for the examination, which will beconducted in two sessions.To ensure fair process and exam free of unfair means, the university has deployed 142 University Representatives who will monitor the conduct of the examination in various districts. Vice-Chancellor of Bundelkhand University, Prof Mukesh Pandey, who has been personally supervising the preparations for over a month, said that for the first time all UniversityRepresentatives have been equipped with advanced body-worn cameras to strengthen security, confidentiality, transparency and strict compliance with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Body-worn cameras are integrated with several modern features, including live video streaming, audio recording, two-way communication, GPS-based location tracking, emergency alarm systems and direct connectivity with the Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC) in the university. The ICCC, functioning as a full-fledged central monitoring hub,will oversee the exam process in real time through live feeds from CCTV cameras installed at examination centres across the state.University officials said control centre will continuously monitor every stage of the examination and provide immediate guidance and support whenever required. The monitoring system will become operational from 4 am on Sunday and will track the movement and activities of the representatives throughout the day. The integrated two-way communication facility will enable representatives to establish direct contact with the ICCC at any time, ensuring swift response to any issue and enhancing overall examination security.The university administration expressed confidence that the use of advanced surveillance technology and centralised monitoring will help maintain the integrity and transparency of one of the state's largest entrance exams.
