State's start-ups and young entrepreneurs to get global platform at Rajasthan DigiiFest TIE Global Summit 2026: CM
Jaipur: Chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma Thursday said that to provide a global platform for funding and mentoring to Rajasthan's start-ups, the 'Rajasthan DigiiFest TIE Global Summit 2026' is going to be held in Jaipur from Jan 4-6.Under the Rajasthan DigiiFest TIE Global Summit 2026, the Rajasthan Regional AI Impact Conference will also be organised. Sectoral sessions based on AI topics will also be held at this conference.
The CM said this conference, being organised in Rajasthan, will play an important role in making India a leader in the field of AI by establishing coordination with the Centre's India AI Mission. Sharma will also release the Rajasthan AI-ML Policy on Jan 6 during the DigiiFest."Through this, the state will establish its identity as a major hub for IT and start-up development," he said. He directed the officials of the IT and communication department to complete all preparations related to the event with full coordination.Sharma presided over a meeting held at the CMO regarding preparations for Rajasthan DigiiFest TIE Global Summit 2026. He said that more than 10,000 participants will join this summit, being organised on a large scale for the first time in Rajasthan, including start-ups, investors, young entrepreneurs, IT professionals, educational institutions and students from the country and state, along with senior officials from IT and industry departments of several states.Additionally, founders, CEOs and investors from more than 1,200 global companies, along with founders of more than 20 unicorn/soonicorn start-ups, will participate. In this summit, start-up founders will get opportunities for funding and mentoring. Additionally, detailed discussions will be held on artificial intelligence (AI) and other topics in the sectoral sessions being organised at DigiiFest.The CM said that, through this summit, Rajasthan's start-ups will get an opportunity to receive investment of more than Rs 200 crore. Additionally, start-ups identified in Rajasthan's i-Start programme will receive 1 year of mentorship through this event. He said that, through sectoral sessions, experts from important sectors like fintech, e-commerce, agritech, healthtech, proptech, AVGC, mediatech, sportstech, AIML and deeptech will share sector-specific knowledge with start-ups and young entrepreneurs.Sharma said that, in this summit, participants will get important information through pavilions of IT and communication departments of several states, including Rajasthan, and there will also be an opportunity to showcase innovations through 114 stalls of start-ups.
