Jaipur: Rajasthan United Football Club are set to play their final match of the Indian Football League (IFL) 2026 season against Chanmari Football Club at the Kalyani Stadium, Kolkata on Tuesday (May 19, 2026). The tie is scheduled to kick off at 6.30 pm IST as the Desert Warriors aim to conclude the campaign on a positive note.
Ahead of the fixture, assistant coach Vikas Rawat addressed the media during the pre-match press conference and reflected on the team’s journey throughout the season.
“This is our final game of the season, and while the pressure is certainly there, the team is mentally prepared and fully focused for the challenge ahead. This season has been a valuable learning experience for everyone involved. Despite the difficulties, the squad has shown growth, character, and resilience throughout the campaign. Our entire focus now is on finishing the season on a positive note with a strong performance. I would also like to sincerely thank our supporters who have stood by the team through every moment this season. Their unwavering support has truly motivated us,” said Vikas Rawat.
Key player Novin Gurung also shared his thoughts ahead of the crucial encounter.
“This season has taught us many things, and most importantly we are taking all these experiences into the next season. We are focused on securing points in this last match and ending the campaign on a very positive note. I would also like to thank the fans for always being there for us throughout the season.”
The RUFC chairman KK Tak expressed gratitude towards everyone associated with the club and called upon supporters to stand behind the team one final time this season.
“I would like to sincerely thank all our supporters, staff members, players, and everyone who has been part of this journey throughout the season. The team is ready for the last match, and we once again ask our fans to come forward and support the club. We need your support now more than ever as we look to finish the campaign strongly.”
