Rajasthan Election Result live: Congress wrests Rajasthan from BJP

Congress on Tuesday wrested Rajasthan from the BJP after its candidates were declared elected on 99 seats of the 199 that went to the polls. Rajasthan CM Vasundhara Raje tendered her resignation to governor as the BJP faces a defeat in the assembly elections. Vikram Singh Shekhawat, a Congress rebel and contesting as an independent, leading with 7070 votes after two rounds.

Till two rounds he gets 8384 votes while his rival Narpat Singh Rajvi, the sitting BJP MLA, gets 7070 votes.
