Arunachal CM Pema Khandu calls for development-oriented politics in state

ITANAGAR: Arunachal CM Pema Khandu on Monday emphasised that politics should be centred on development and not appeasement or money.

Interacting with Yuva Karyakartas of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) Arunachal unit, led by president Ritemso Manyu here, Khandu said it’s essential that we shift the focus towards meaningful progress and growth, rather than short-term gains.

“Unfortunately, often the development performance of the govt goes unrecognised by the people.

We must prioritize development-driven politics that benefits all citizens,” the chief minister asserted.

My politics driven by purpose, not personal goals: Yogi Adityanath

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath revealed that he joined politics to serve the public, not for personal ambition or prestige. He emphasized his government's commitment to combating those who threaten youth futures, women's security, and public businesses. Yogi criticized the opposition for neglecting public service and clarified that bulldozers are intended for criminals.
