Indore:
Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) is set for one of its busiest recruitment years, with plans to conduct more than 25 examinations, surpassing its usual annual average of 17 to 21. The move is expected to accelerate hiring across departments and widen opportunities for candidates across the state.
So far, the commission has issued notifications for 12 major recruitments, including the state service and forest service examinations, along with key technical and academic posts. Officials said at least 13 more notifications are expected before Dec. These will cover posts such as assistant professor, assistant registrar, scientific officer, state engineering service officers and medical experts, with a clear focus on filling long-pending vacancies in specialised cadres.
The commission is also preparing for a heavy interview schedule. More than 5000 posts are lined up for interviews, including medical officer and assistant professor positions from previous cycles. Efforts are being made to align interviews with the exam calendar to reduce delays, though some may extend into early next year.
The State Service Examination 2026 for 155 posts is scheduled for mains in Sept. Officials aim to declare results quickly and begin interviews by Dec, helping streamline the recruitment cycle.
The commission OSD R Panchbhai said the expanded calendar is aimed at bringing recruitment timelines back on track. "We are trying to synchronise examinations and interviews so that selections are completed faster and candidates do not face prolonged uncertainty," he said.
