Mitch Evans speaks about finishing second at the Madrid E-Prix

Reflecting on the race and his missed opportunity, Mitch Evans said, “I should have won the race, but I don’t want to take anything away from António [Félix da Costa], he drove a mega race. A one-two for the team, and the team got the result they wanted. I was playing the long game and had a good energy advantage, which brought me into the fight during the pit window, especially towards the end.”“I was surprised to be in the mix, but with my energy advantage it was always going to be a strong finish. It still was, just not the result I was hoping for. It is what it is, but it’s a great one-two for the team,” he added.
