Knife attacks in Tilak Nagar, Azad Nagar leave several injured
Indore: Two stabbing incidents were reported on Monday night, with police registering FIRs against several persons in Tilak Nagar and Azad Nagar areas.
A violent clash broke out in Tilak Nagar locality where two youths were allegedly attacked with knives and stones. Tilak Nagar police registered an FIR against Pawan, Ayush Verma, Chhotu and their associates.
According to a complaint lodged by Vishal Solanki, a resident of Shrinadha Colony, he was confronted by Ayush Verma late at night. Vishal alleged that Ayush was drunk and started abusing him. During the altercation, Pawan also reached the spot. Police said that Ayush allegedly attacked Vishal with a knife, injuring his leg, while Pawan also assaulted him with a sharp-edged weapon. Chhotu allegedly joined the assault and attacked the victim with stones. Nikhil, who tried to intervene and stop the fight, was also assaulted during the clash. The accused later fled from the spot before
Police got the injured medically examined and started investigation into the incident.
In Azad Nagar area, a youth was allegedly stabbed following an argument involving his father. Based on a complaint by Ajay Bachania, police registered a case against Anurag, a resident of Palda Chowk, along with Shiva and Vijay.
Police said that the dispute began after an argument between the accused and Ajay’s father Ramesh on Monday night. The verbal altercation later escalated into violence, during which Ajay was allegedly attacked with a knife.
