Women must rise & create their own path, says KCR
Hyderabad: During a recent interaction with party leaders on the occasion of the foundation event, Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) chief K Chandrasekhar Rao spoke extensively about the women's reservation bill. According to sources, he urged party workers not to overlook women leaders who genuinely wanted to engage in party activities. He reportedly commented that be it a country or a home – if it is entrusted to a woman, it will be successful. He recalled that during his tenure as a central minister, Sonia Gandhi suggested that he coordinate on the women's bill. He mentioned that it would have been good if the women's bill had been implemented, but expressed doubt about its implementation in the upcoming elections. KCR encouraged women leaders to step forward, stating that they should not wait for a path to be given in politics but should create their own. A woman leader from Warangal reportedly brought to KCR's attention that she was not being invited to party programmes, to which KCR emphasised the need for unity among members.
