Temple burgled, hunt on for two thieves

Hyderabad: Thieves gained entry into a temple at Bhuvanagiri and escaped with 40,000 cash on Sunday night. Based on the CCTV footage, police launched a manhunt to nab the offenders. The burglary took place at Renuka Yellamma temple on the outskirts of the town. Unidentified offenders entered the temple premises and broke the hundi lock using an iron rod. They opened the hundi door and escaped with the cash. Police registered a burglary case under sections 457 and 380 of IPC. tnn
