Stop smear campaign against Bandi & family: Telangana BJP chief to BRS

Hyderabad: Telangana BJP chief N Ramchander Rao said the BRS has no moral right to criticise Union minister of state for home affairs Bandi Sanjay and the BJP, alleging that the party is running a political conspiracy to defame Sanjay and his family.

Addressing a press conference in Hyderabad, Ramchander Rao said Bandi Sanjay had done nothing wrong and asserted that the BJP would not hesitate to act if any wrongdoing was established. He accused the BRS of spending crores of rupees on a targeted campaign against Sanjay and his son instead of focusing on public issues.

Referring to the case involving Bageerath, the BJP chief said the bail petition is pending and noted that Bageerath had already surrendered before the authorities in accordance with the law. He said this showed respect for the legal process and rejected allegations that the family was trying to evade investigation.
