Will open 2,000 KPS in Karnataka: DCM

Kalaburagi: Appreciating the performance of minister Priyank Kharge, DCM DK Shivakumar said that Priyank was doing a good job under the guidance of his father Mallikarjun Kharge.He was speaking at the foundation stone laying and inauguration ceremony of the Rs 1,069 crore works held in Chittapur town in Kalaburagi district on Sunday. "Priyank is doing well in his department. He is taking everyone together," he said. He requested the people of Chittapur to bless him, and to also bless Priyank Kharge and MP Radhakrishna Doddamani."Faith is as important to a man as the root is to a tree. Mallikarjun Kharge's work and achievements laid the foundation for the work of the next century," said Shivakumar. He said that the people across India know what Kharge did for the lives of the people of Kalyana Karnataka.Today, about 2,000 houses were given to the people of Chittapur by the sewage board, he said. He said that they were working to fill more than 400 lakes in the state, thereby guaranteeing irrigation."We have decided to start 2,000 Karnataka Public Schools in the state. A total 330 schools will be established in the Kalyana Karnataka region. Besides, 2.5 lakh vacancies in the govt will be filled in a phased manner," he said.He said that steps were already taken to fill more than 50,000 vacancies in the govt. The govt spends more than Rs 52,000 crore every year for the people of the state to live a comfortable life through guarantee schemes. This is our duty and the duty of our govt, he said.
