AURA 2K26 cultural and technical fest held at KLS GIT

Pic: Mohit Chauhan performs at KLS GIT, BelagaviBelagavi: KLS Gogte Institute of Technology (KLS GIT), Belagavi, successfully hosted AURA 2K26, its annual cultural and technical festival, from March 11 to 14, bringing together thousands of students for a 4-day celebration of talent, creativity and innovation. The festival featured events such as dance, drama, music, e-sports, fashion shows, literary competitions, photography, quizzes and fine arts, along with several campus-wide special activities. More than 3,200 students from institutions across Belagavi, Bengaluru and nearby cities participated. A major highlight of the event was the grand concert by renowned playback singer Mohit Chauhan on March 14, which attracted a large audience and marked a spectacular finale. In the overall championship, KLE Dr MS Sheshgiri College of Engineering, Belagavi, emerged as the winner. The championship trophy was presented by Mohit Chauhan, along with members of the KLS management. The event was organised under the aegis of the Karnataka Law Society and was attended by KLS president PS Sawkar, vice-presidents RB Bhandare and DV Kulkarni, secretaries VM Deshpande and SV Ganachari, chairman AK Tagare and governing council chairman RK Belgaumkar. KLS GIT principal MS Patil, dean SP Deshpande, cultural head Apurva Adyapak and faculty members were also present.
