Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council polls on April 13

Agartala: Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council elections will be held on April 13, with counting scheduled for April 17, state election commissioner Manoj Kumar said.The poll notification will be issued on March 18. The last date for filing nominations is March 25, scrutiny will be taken up on March 26, and the deadline for withdrawal of candidature is March 28.Polling will take place on April 13, while repoll, if required, has been scheduled for April 16. Vote counting will be conducted on April 17. More than 11,000 security personnel will be deployed for the polls.
