NSS to strengthen youth engagement in Meghalaya
Shillong: The National Service Scheme (NSS) will take enhanced measures to strengthen youth engagement in developmental activities across Meghalaya, an NSS statement said on Friday.Following an interaction and review meeting of NSS functionaries held at North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU) by Nitesh Kumar Mishra, additional secretary, department of youth affairs, the statement said that the session reviewed ongoing NSS activities in the state and deliberated on key operational and implementation aspects aimed at further strengthening youth participation in community development and nation-building initiatives.

The Additional Secretary appreciated the dedicated efforts of NSS units in Meghalaya and encouraged volunteers to continue serving society with discipline, commitment, and leadership.During the programme, he also formally released the posters for MY Bharat Budget Quest, marking the launch of intensified outreach and publicity efforts in the state.
