Sunny Deol is thrilled to be juggling several exciting projects. He is currently in the final stages of an action-packed thriller, portraying a fierce cop who takes on the menacing Vijay Varma in the role of the antagonist. After that, he will transform into the mighty Hanuman for Nitesh Tiwari's much-anticipated 'Ramayana: Part 2' by the end of April.
On the day when the first look of Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Ramayana’ has been unveiled, excitement around the epic only grows stronger, especially with Sunny Deol playing Hanuman in the film. Riding high on the success of ‘Border 2’, Deol has also been juggling multiple projects. In early March, he began shooting for an untitled action thriller in Mumbai, produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, which is already nearing the end of its first schedule.

Vijay Varma takes on the villain’s role

The film is mounted as a full-fledged action entertainer, with Sunny Deol portraying a cop in a rugged new avatar, complete with a moustache and beard. Vijay Varma essays the antagonist. According to Mid-Day, reports suggest, “Over the past three weeks, the unit has been shooting all across Mumbai. They began with an action sequence, featuring Sunny and Vijay, in Film City, where a huge set depicting a carnival was erected.
