Himanta Biswa Sarma releases BJP’s theme songs for Assam assembly polls

Guwahati: CM Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday released theme songs of BJP for the assembly elections with an aim to take the party’s vision to the people and touch their hearts.“Several theme songs have been prepared by party workers for the polls. Three were released today. The songs have been penned and composed by BJP workers,” Sarma said.The CM said one of the songs, titled ‘Asomor Surakhya, Bikashor Protigya’ (Assam’s protection, promise of development) is written and composed by Union minister of state for external affairs Pabitra Margherita. The song was sung by singer Rakesh Riyan. Another song, ‘Lage Lage Lage Akou Abar BJP Sarkar’ (Need, Need, Need, BJP Govt Once More..) is written by singer Vidyasagar Borah, the chairman of govt-run Jyoti Chitraban Film Studio and sung by Aranyam Dowarah.BJP spokesperson Jayanta Kumar Goswami said these songs will carry the message of development to every voter.
