Two youths die in Gaya bike collision
Gaya: Two youths died when their speeding bike collided head on near Kewali village under Chandauti police station area early Monday morning.The deceased were identified as Akshay Kumar (22) of Dharampur village under Keshru Dharampur panchayat and Subhash Kumar (25) of Belma village under Panchanpur police station area. According to eyewitnesses, the intensity of the collision was so severe that the bikes were torn into pieces. Both the riders were thrown several metres on the road and they died on the spot due to severe injuries.As they were local residents, a large number of people, including their family members, co-villagers and others, gathered at the spot, which led to a blockade-like situation on the road.Chandauti police station inspector Anil Kumar said, “Police reached at the spot and sent the bodies to Anugrah Narayan Magadh Medical College and Hospital for postmortem. Further inquiry into the incident is being conducted.”
